Published Work

My writing appears in a range of literary spaces, from local publications to national anthologies. My first full-length collection, On Island Time (2025), brings together poems rooted in place, memory, and the rhythms of island life. I also have work published in The Islander and in several volumes from Local Gems Press, including the Dawn Changes anthology.
Below you’ll find selected publications, including a description of On Island Time and links to purchase the print edition and eBook.

In the southern waters of Washington State's Puget Sound lies the magical, mysterious island of Anderson Island, home to natural wonders, colorful characters, and one fiery woman who isn't done living. Across 30 poems, author Penne Wilson-Gailer vividly swirls through sultry mystique, keen insights, and folksy delights, sharing her joys, heartbreaks, and irrepressible passion for life.
